SCO Young Scientists Camp 2026 — Kyrgyzstan Application Form

We're glad you're applying to the SCO Young Scientists Camp — an international two-week science program taking place in summer 2026. This application is your chance to tell us who you are and what drives your curiosity. We're looking forward to getting to know you!

Application preparation checklist

1. Grade documents: upload your records for 2024/2025 (full year) and 2025/2026 (current year, to date) as a single combined file. We accept originals in English, Russian, or Kyrgyz. Documents must be stamped and signed by your school.
2. Honors and awards (optional) and activities (at least one required) — up to 3 entries each. For each, write up to 100 words describing the context, your role, and the outcome.
3. Two essays in English, drafted in a separate document before you begin — "Why would you like to participate in the Camp?" and "Describe a challenge you faced in the last two years and how you handled it." (200–300 words each)
4. A 60-second video in English answering: "If you had unlimited resources and full freedom, what scientific project, discovery, or invention would you dedicate yourself to, and why?"

Note on integrity. This program values academic honesty. The use of generative AI (such as ChatGPT) for your essays is strictly prohibited and will result in disqualification. Be accurate about the level of any competition and your placement, as well as your role and duration in any activity. Reviewers verify claims, and misrepresentation will result in disqualification.

Application deadline: April 22, 2026 at 23:59 local time
